The Forgotten Joint Scores are based on a novel construct: the patients‘ ability to forget about a joint as a result of successful treatment. We believe this to be the ultimate goal in conservative and operative management of joint conditions. In an ongoing research project we are developing patient-reported outcome (PRO) measures to assess this construct for shoulder, knee and hip joints.
